Creative Process

I wanted the Mingo Springs Clothing Co.® brand to represent classic styling, subtle uniqueness, distinctive details, consideration for the environment and most importantly, American manufacturing. After a couple of false starts over a few years, I’ve finally made it happen.

In developing my signature product "Mingo Greens®" lake shorts, I wanted to work with a fabric that had the qualities of cotton, durability of canvas and texture and feel of quality linen. I also wanted to use fabrics and processes that were more friendly to the environment; so, I chose Hemp! Our signature Mingo Greens® are made from 55% Hemp, one of the worlds most environmentally friendly, breathable and durable natural fibers. I know you will love it!
